This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointment with the possibility of extension(s). Position Overview Acts as part of community-based multi-disciplinary Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health clinical service. Provides advanced infant, child and adolescent mental health services (ICAMHS) practice (assessment, counselling, therapy, case management). Provides clinical leadership to other team members and acts as a resource for internal and external stakeholders, including liaison with regional CAMHS services. The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) Infant, Child, Adolescent Mental Health is responsible for providing a WA Country Health Service (WACHS) wide clinical consultancy service within an assigned area of specialty; developing standards of practice; implementing change to clinical practice; educating staff and initiating research and quality improvement activities. The CNC is responsible for the provision of an advanced level of care relevant to WACHS and provides mentorship and role modelling for other mental health professionals and contributes to the advancement of the profession; in keeping with the vision and values of the WA Country Health Service. The CNC is responsible for the provision of timely and specialised infants and children mental health consultancy services to WACHS regional health services using audio-visual modalities. The CNC will conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for use by children and families. The CNC will support WACHS clinicians in the delivery of quality mental health care to infant, children and their family in WACHS health services. This is an "open-ended" recruitment pool, and as such the following should be noted:
The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications, and will assess on a regular basis. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
