Applications are sought from suitably qualified Registered Nurses to take the next step in expanding their career as a Clinical Nurse Consultant in the High Dependency Unit at Echuca Regional Health. Key responsibilities include:
Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, developing and implementing structured skills acquisition, education, and training programs for HDU staff. Facilitate staff meetings, participate in performance reviews, and assist in recruitment and workforce planning for HDU. Support all wards as the critical care liaison nurse, attending MET Calls, Code Blues, and assessing deteriorating patients. Actively participate in ongoing education and training
Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice
Qualifications/experience required:
Registered Nurse with AHPRA Post Graduate Qualifications in Critical Care Nursing 5+ years' Post Graduate Critical Care Nursing Experience Availability for a range of shifts including evenings and weekends
