Clinical Nurse Consultant - Head to Health Kids - CAMHS (528420)(North)Full time$111,506 - $118,336 per annum + 11.5% superPlease note this position is also being advertised as a Clinical Lead - Head to Health Kids - CAMHS (528420d) and only one position will be filled on merit.Our aim:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to establish and lead the Head to Health Kids Tas Service multidisciplinary team in Northern Tasmania. The senior clinician will have a passion for working collaboratively with existing child and family services to deliver evidence-based early interventions. The Clinical Lead will establish and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver secondary level mental health assessment and intervention for infants, children, and their families and caregivers, experiencing emerging complexity regarding emotional, social, relational, and behavioural functioning.The role will:Coordinate and plan the establishment of a regional H2HK ServiceOversee place-based operation of the North H2HK Tas Service, operationally supported as part of the regional CAMHSFacilitate extensive cross-agency and cross-sector engagement, co-planning, and continuing service coordination and integrationCover the delivery of a range of specialist and coordinated early interventions, in close partnership with the CFLC service setting, School Professional Support Services and other relevant servicesProvide clinical leadership to a H2HK multidisciplinary team.Details of AppointmentFixed term full time day worker position (with on call) working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2026.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.Salary: $111,506 - $118,336 per annum + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packagingYou'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and possess specialist tertiary graduate or post graduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification; or completed, prior to the transfer of nurse education to the tertiary sector, an accredited hospital-based program that lead to registration as a psychiatric nurse by the relevant nurse regulatory authority within Australia, New Zealand, Canada or the United Kingdom.Current Working with Children RegistrationDesirable criteria:A minimum of 3 years current post graduate experience in child, adolescent and/or youth mental health or relevant fieldTraining in relevant and appropriate evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are developmentally appropriate such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)Please note applications close 27 October 2024 at 11:55PMPublic Health Services works to improve and protect the health and wellbeing for all Tasmanians.
