This is a Rewarding Role! About the Role As a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) at Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Service, based at Concord Centre for Mental Health, you will provide expert clinical advice to patients, carers, and other health care professionals within a defined specialty through the delivery of specialist consultant service which:
Develops, implements, and evaluates care management plans for patients with complex health needs.Provides leadership in the ongoing development of clinical practice.Initiates and utilises findings of research in the provision of clinical services.Contributes to the development and delivery of specialty-related education programs.Participates in formal processes for the strategic and operational planning for the clinical service.Infection Prevention and Control across the Mental Health Service.Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in the specialty field.Holds approved postgraduate qualifications relevant to the specialty or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.Proven ability to consult, review, and develop both new and existing policies and procedures within the relevant specialty.Must have the ability to work a Monday-Friday roster.Experience in Mental Health.Benefits and Perks!
