Sunnybank Private Hospital is a 111 bed facility, which provides acute Medical, Surgical, Maternity, Day Surgery, Rehabilitation, Intensive Care services and 7 Operating Theatres.

The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the specialty of our Day Surgery Unit.
We Offer: Supportive Leadership Team Education and Training Opportunities Salary reflecting experience (CNC rate of pay) Free parking As the Clinical Nurse Specialist your responsibilities will include: Organisation and Management of the Day surgery portfolio which includes working in a clinical capacity Education and training of new and existing staff Roster and daily Allocation Demonstrates application of the principles of clinical and workplace risk management. Applies sound clinical practice which ensures a safe environment and promotes optimal patient health. Effectively exchanges information regarding patient responses to treatment and nursing care. Achieves optimum patient care through effective collaboration with other health professionals and coordination of care. Achieves optimal patient outcomes through appropriate allocation of staff and delegation of work and uses effective communication skills. Exercises authority through appropriate decision making. Utilises customer service principles to exceed customer expectations. Undertake other duties as required/directed as service needs change or grow, consistent with the above and within the scope of the position and any other legal or industrial obligations.
