We have been creating new positions and extending our teams across the State.Broaden your professional experience with our CARE values-driven approach (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) and work in a multidisciplinary team with like-minded people where you can improve the lives of older people.The Role:As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Services Principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements, and relevant professional competencies, the Clinical Nurse Consultant - Clinical Lead will provide high-level support to the Team Leader, within the relevant community mental health service, in the provision of:Leadership and direction in the strategic development and management of a comprehensive multidisciplinary community mental health team.Effective management of specified human and physical resources.Leadership, direction, and change management to facilitate the progression of the current Mental Health Service Strategic Plan through the implementation of the associated model of care, and relevant service policies, procedures, and guidelines.Optimal clinical processes and individual client outcomes.Enhanced consumer and carer participation at all levels of the service.You will need:Demonstrated capacity to effectively undertake a coordination/leadership role within a multidisciplinary community setting, including providing supervision and support to other staff as required.Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, and a capacity to contribute towards the introduction of the model of care within a community setting.Demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to manage and coordinate the clinical activities of a multidisciplinary community mental health team, with the ability to assist the Team Leader in relation to the effective management of human and physical resources.Details of appointment:Permanent full-time day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Salary: $114,851 to $121,886 per annum.
