An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Chronic Kidney Disease) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Apply advanced specialist skills in planning and coordination in the clinical management of Chronic Kidney disease patientsSafely and effectively perform evidence-based invasive and/or non-invasive interventionsPrescribe indicated non-pharmacological and pharmacological interventionsAct as a support person and a resource for expert clinical care needs, work collaboratively with patients, their families and the broader healthcare teamSupport and promote personal and professional growth of the cliniciansAbout you To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalentRegistration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of AustraliaA Masters or higher qualification within a relevant area is highly desirableDriver LicenceEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)Base salary ranging from $132,562 - $143,924 per annum or $5,081.10 - $5,516.60 per fortnightAbout Us Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service Renal Service provides management of adult patients with acute kidney injuries and chronic kidney disease, including dialysis and work-up for transplant and post-transplant management.
