About the Role:
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant – Breast Cancer Services, you will have the opportunity to champion patient-centered care, develop innovative service models, and strengthen collaborative relationships across disciplines.
Your responsibilities include:
Patient-Centered Care: Provide compassionate, comprehensive care to individuals with breast cancer, guiding them through their journey from diagnosis to survivorship.
Service Development: Design and expand our breast cancer care services, fostering innovation and ensuring optimal outcomes for patients and families.
Collaborative Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partnerships with services such as haematology, oncology, and allied health.
Clinical Education: Support and educate staff in the Diagnostic Breast Clinic, while providing relief as needed to ensure seamless operations.
Leadership and Innovation: Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and engage in survivorship programs, enhancing care through evidence-based practice and research.
Holistic Support: Support patients' psychological and emotional wellbeing with a focus on trust, compassion, and individual needs.
About You:

Advanced clinical expertise in breast cancer care, including knowledge of surgical pathways and holistic management.
A Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Breast Care) or equivalent (desirable).
Proactive leadership with the ability to design and implement innovative care solutions.
