The Role: The Department of Health are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Consultant - Aged Care to join their team at the King Island Hospital & Community Health Centre.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant - Aged Care (CNC - AC) is the clinical lead of the area and works collaboratively with nursing, medical and allied health clinicians to:
Lead and promote efficient and effective care based on best practice clinical and organisational principles in alignment with the Aged Care Quality Standards (ACQS).Maintain a collaborative partnership with internal and external stakeholders.Support and promote an environment that fosters staff education, quality improvement and compliance requirements of the service.Details of Appointment Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from November 2024.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Salary: $111,506 - $118,336 per annum.
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
