About the Tasmanian State Service:
The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.
As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality AOD services, the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) will:
Provide professional and clinical leadership in the strategic development and implementation of a comprehensive multidisciplinary state-wide alcohol and other drug consultation liaison service.
Provide a range of specialist assessments and interventions for clients of the ADS Consultation and Liaison Service.
Act as a consultant to the broader department regarding the support and management of clients with alcohol and other drug issues.
The Team:
The Alcohol and Drug Service is the largest specialist alcohol and other drug treatment service in Tasmania, delivering counselling, pharmacotherapy, withdrawal and consultation and liaison services.
Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Salary:
$111,506 to $118,336 per annum, with an 11.5% superannuation contribution.
Salary range is in accordance with
Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 .

Minimum Requirements:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
