(pro-rata) Temporary Part Time position working 15.2 hours per week up to 2 August 2024 Overview We are looking for a Community Midwife to join our team in Country Health Connect at the Tatiara Community Centre where you will be responsible for providing midwifery services, antenatal and postnatal and make a difference in our community. In this role you will provide proficient, person centred, clinical nursing/midwifery care and/or individual case management to patients/clients in a variety of health service settings including: Provide care and support for both mother and baby as soon as practical after birth; Assess the holistic needs of mother and baby; Perform pre-natal/post-natal and neonatal investigations as required Preferred working days are Tuesday and Thursdays with flexibility to change days. About you: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. At least 3 years post registration experience. Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
