The Clinical Nurse – Clinical Trial Coordinator (CN-CTC) role provides clinical, problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the management of cancer patients on Haematology clinical trials with complex care needs, commensurate with level of experience.

About the Role
The Division of Cancer Services - Cancer Trials Unit (DOCS CTU) of the Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is dedicated to providing a high quality service for the delivery of clinical research treatments for patients with cancer.
The research conducted explores questions of optimal drug use, novel combination chemotherapies, targeted therapies, radiation therapy, new diagnostic tests, prognostic indices, best supportive care, molecular predictors of response and cost effectiveness.
This role is responsible for advanced coordination of all participants who are referred from within and outside the hospital for clinical trials in the Division of Cancer Services (DOCS) and for supporting their families.
This role delivers participant advocacy.
This role requires supporting clinical research staff and strong collaboration with all personnel within Metro South as well as local, interstate and international third parties.
This role requires clinical experience to effectively manage protocol implementation, data accuracy, and reporting of adverse safety events.
