Pro rata remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value of up to $132,289 p.a., comprising base salary range of $54.44 - $58.30 p.h. (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%). Eligible health workers who make the move (interstate or international) to work with us may receive up to $20,000 in incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme (conditions apply).

The purpose of this role is to demonstrate accountability to manage and coordinate ongoing care for women accessing termination of pregnancy (ToP) within Townsville Hospital and Health Service as a member of the Women's Reproductive Health (WRH) service. The role will work with the Nurse Navigator WRH and team to provide specialist clinical care, advice, consultation, leadership, and education to inter-professional team members supporting the WRH service as well as other services involved in the provision of ToP care.
Skills and experience:
Comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care at an advanced level within a complex environment. Experience in women's health, sexual health, or termination of pregnancy care. Strong communication skills when supporting clients from diverse backgrounds and who are experiencing grief and loss. Build and maintain effective relationships with team members, patients and other stakeholders. Provide clinical education and support at an advanced level.
