As an Aged Care Clinical Nurse, you will provide supervision and direct care of Registered and Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing, Utilities and support staff under delegation from the Facilities/Clinical Manager. You will possess excellent clinical skills and strong leadership experience to ensure a high level of patient care is always delivered.
About the role: Conduct Nursing practice in accordance with AHPRA Competency standardsDelivers direct and comprehensive nursing care, and individual case management to patients in line with their care plansOperate as a shift coordinator and TL as required, taking charge of clinical workloads as requiredPerforms the role of shift coordinator / team leader as required and takes a clinical workload as appropriateAssists the Management team in the formulation and revision of clinical practice policies, procedures and guidelines and research as requiredReport and action patient and staff incidents Person Specification: 12 Months minimum experience as a Registered NurseAn active and unrestricted AHPRA RegistrationRelevant working with children registrationsValid right to work in AustraliaStrong knowledge and understanding of working to the NSQHS guidelines and standardsFirst rate interpersonal skillsKnowledge of Care Plans, medication and Recovery is essentialFull Immunisation History including Coronavirus and Influenza vaccinations About Techforce
