Clinical Nurse – Chemotherapy and Medical Infusions UnitPermanent Part-time position, working 24 hours per week Overview Exciting and challenging role available for self-motivated and innovative Clinical Nurse looking to step up to the next level and join a strong and supportive Chemotherapy and Medical Infusions team. With excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships across the board, you will be responsible for assisting with the provision of professional high quality patient care within the Southern Fleurieu Health Service Chemotherapy and Medical Infusion Unit. Your duties will involve assessing patients' needs, planning, implementing and coordinating appropriate service delivery options and communicating changes in condition and care. In addition, you will assist with monitoring client care plans and participating in clinical auditing and evaluative research to ensure appropriate patient care outcomes are achieved on a daily basis. You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. A team player with the demonstrated ability to think on your feet and work within changing environments, you will bring a proven track record in working effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Good organisation skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision. You will also possess good communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
