About the role Mater Private Hospital Townsville (MPHT) has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and qualified Clinical Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab and Cath lab Recovery team within our Perioperative Services Department in a part time capacity 64 hours a fortnight.
MPHT boasts brand new state of the art theatre facilities, a catheterization laboratory, separate onsite day site surgery facilities as well as newly implemented robotic surgery involving the da Vinci Surgical System.

Salary range: $52.63 - $56.38 per hour (Registered Nurse Level 2) plus superannuation and access to salary packaging What you'll be doing As a trained Scrub/Scout Nurse or Recovery Nurse with proven experience in a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory unit, you will have a strong work ethic, self-motivation and be able to adapt quickly to changing environments as we work together to deliver first class services. Alongside your caring and engaging manner, you will have a positive attitude and strong communication skills allowing you to engage with our patients and their families.
About you To be successful in this role you will possess: Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRAAt least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting with relevant Cath Lab experience or Cath lab Recovery Experience.Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded although not essentialMater is Queensland's largest and most innovative not-for-profit healthcare service, providing care for almost 700,000 patients a year across a network of 11 hospitals.
