This is a fixed term full time opportunity commencing 29/07/2024 to 20/05/2025
(or up to 12 months) with the possibility of extension(s) and or permanency. We are currently looking for a Clinical Midwifery Consultant to join the team in Maternity Services.
In this role, you will:
Provide a clinical consultancy service within Maternity Services at Fiona Stanley Hospital and external Health Service ProvidersLead and manage the Midwifery/Nursing workforce to deliver evidence-based care to achieve optimal patient outcomes within allocated resourcesInnovative improvements and maintaining standards, policy and guideline development, developing solutions and delivering outcomes consistent with service and organisational imperatives and targetsEnsuring that midwifery staff have access to education, quality improvement activities and research methodology.As a key leader in the interdisciplinary team, the Clinical Midwifery Consultant will ensure that the Maternity Service meets the requirement for delivery of a patient centred service against key performance indicators: quality, budget and human resources.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
