We encourage you to consider joining our friendly team for a meaningful and rewarding career in rural and remote healthcare.How to ApplyTo be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible.Designated as specifically a female position under section 31 in the Anti – designation Act.Registered as a Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, with at least three years clinical experience and relevant post-graduate (or working towards) qualifications related to maternity care including the provision of antenatal and postnatal care and relevant assessments and skills.Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of social determinants of health issues affecting Aboriginal people.Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the principles of primary health care and how they relate to maternal and infant health.Ability to work effectively in a community-based setting with women, parents, carers, families and other service providers, and ability to respond effectively to clients who may be challenging to engage.Currently possess or able to obtain within 3 months of commencing employment, authorisation as an immunisation provider in New South Wales.Information Technology skills related to eMR and maternity databases (e.g.
