We have Clinical Midwife opportunities in Bunbury, Collie, Margaret River, Manjimup and Bridgetown Midwifery Group Practices.

Midwifery Group Practice allows you to practice autonomously in a continuity of care caseload model.
If you wish to work to the full scope of your midwifery skills, then the maternity services provided in the South West are the place to be.
Depending on site, our services provide continuity of care across the continuum of pregnancy.
This includes antenatal care and clinics from 12-14 weeks, intrapartum care either in the hospital or homebirth (Bunbury MGP only), postnatal care in the hospital or at home, Obstetric clinics, lactation consultant services, antenatal classes and a level 2 nursing at Bunbury.

Bunbury Regional Hospital is the regional resource centre and the busiest regional maternity site in Western Australia, having over 1000 births per year.
It also provides support to the 5 other birthing sites.
MGP model of care services exist within Bunbury, Margaret River, Collie, Bridgetown, and Manjimup (Warren).
The South-West maternity services have a true team approach, working closely across hospitals to ensure we provide comprehensive women-focused care.
This is a Recruitment Pool for suitably qualified Clinical Midwives covering: Permanent - Full Time Permanent - Part Time Fixed Term - Full Time Fixed Term - Part Time Casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
The Following Should Be Noted: The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and will assess on a regular basis.
Interviews may not be conducted as part of the process however applicants may be contacted to provide additional information.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2024.
International applicants with suitable experience and qualifications are encouraged to apply and must include a copy of their AHPRA registration and current Visa with their application documents.
Position Profile: WACHS - South West is seeking to establish a pool of dynamic and skilled Midwives for upcoming Clinical Midwife appointments.
In this role you will provide continuity of midwifery care within a caseload midwifery led model throughout the continuum of pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period.
You will work within a group practice and provide support and backup for the woman either at home or in the hospital.
The emphasis is on the provision of safe, effective care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Within the midwifery group practice, the woman and her family are central to the care and provided in a culturally appropriate manner.
