An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Midwife (Healthy Hearing) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Provide clinical leadership in problem solving, planning, and coordination of midwifery at an advanced levelMaintain accountability for the standard of care delivered while providing support and direction to other midwivesPromote professional practice through participation in professional development of self and othersMaintain accountability for the standard of care delivered while providing support and direction to other staffAbout you To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of AustraliaEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)Base salary ranging from $54.44 - $58.30 per hourAbout Us The Healthy Hearing Team provides excellent family centred care to women, infants, and their families. The team aims to achieve optimal health outcomes by screening most newborn babies prior to discharge from hospital. Follow up appointments are offered in the community for babies unable to be screened prior to discharge or require further screening.
