Clinical Midwife (Core), Rural & Remote Services, Cairns & Hinterland HHSCairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service – Cairns QLDAbout your role:Promote cooperation, teamwork, and understanding in undertaking generalist and/or specialist midwifery practices for effective health outcomes.Accountable for planning, provision, and communication of midwifery care provided across a shift.Maintain productive multi-disciplinary working relationships, effectively dealing with challenging behaviours and the resolution of conflicts.Provide effective and efficient clinical care in the area of clinical specialty and work in collaboration with the Maternity Unit Manager and Associate Maternity Unit Manager to ensure the maintenance of safe standards and woman-centred care.Assume responsibility for professional leadership of the maternity ward, service, or unit in the absence of the Maternity Unit Manager and Associate Maternity Unit Manager.Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) evidence as required for your employment in accordance with legislation/government policy and Directives.For more information about this role, please refer to the attached Role Description.
