About the RoleManage an allocated workload to deliver cardiac diagnostic services, including assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards and under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of more senior staff.Develop and maintain strategic links with community-based organisations to ensure appropriate and effective clinical handover and discharge planning processes are maintained.Provide education, direction and supervision for routine tasks to less experienced staff, students and support staff, with the support of senior clinical staff.
Where appropriate, act as primary supervisor for student training.Assist in the identification, development, implementation and/or review of clinical practices, procedures and protocols in work areas using the principles of evidence-based practice under the guidance of senior staff.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence shape our culture within Metro South Health.
