Fixed term temporary full-time opportunity to provide clinical, professional, and day-to-day operational leadership for the Cardiac Device Clinical Measurement Scientist Team. Provide specialist Cardiac Device clinical measurement services and other cardiac investigations for a complex case load.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide advanced level cardiac clinical measurement services within the Cardiac Investigation Unit (CIU) in one or more of the following specialties: Non-Invasive Cardiac Investigations, Tele-Cardiac Investigations, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, Electrophysiology and/or Echocardiography.Represent the Cardiac Investigation Unit and Cardiac Device services at relevant Cardiology, RBWH, MNHHS, and State-wide committees, clinical network and working groups.Provide operational management of staff training within the CIED service, including professional development, competency assessment, clinical supervision, and reporting to appropriate supervisors.Health Equity It is expected that all Metro North Health staff, including the incumbent of this role, contribute to the health equity agenda and support the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).
