Providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment, and project forward to build a cohesive efficient environment. Maintaining collaborative leadership with all stakeholders and key reporting lines. At times the role may backfill the position of Deputy Director Clinical Services, Procedural Areas in times of leave.
About you Registered Nurse with current APHRA certification with a minimum of 4 years' experience in Recovery/DSU.Commitment to developing and improving services through technological, resource and personnel management.Demonstrated advanced communication and interpersonal skills relating to internal and external customers.The ability to form positive collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.Demonstrated knowledge of current nursing issues and practices pertaining to position.Demonstrated understanding of risk, safety and quality management.Knowledge of the Nationals Standards.Current Advanced Life Support Paediatric PLS.Desirable: Committed to promoting the Mission and Values of the Little Company of Mary with patient-centred quality care as the primary focus of service.Strong Leadership experience with a key operational focus.Exceptional organisational skills and computer literacy.Ability to work autonomously.An understanding of the financial reporting requirements and management of unit efficiencies.Well-developed understanding of patient flow and acute hospital operational practices.What you bring Current, unlimited working rights in Australia.Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting.Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity.Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills.A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.For further information please contact Sarah English, Acting Director of Clinical Services, ****** Why work for Calvary?
