Your key responsibilities will be:Resident Care: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality and person-centered care to residents, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.Staff Supervision: Managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers and support staff.Care Planning: Overseeing the development and implementation of individual care plans for each resident, considering their unique health requirements and preferences.Medication Management: Ensuring proper administration and management of medications for residents, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.Family Communication: Communicating effectively with residents' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.Crisis Management: Handling emergency situations and critical incidents promptly and effectively.Skills & ExperienceCurrent AHPRA Registration.Minimum of 2 years' experience in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse.Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting and evaluation documentation.Capability to effectively lead and manage a team.
