Clinical Lead - The Link Youth Health Service (headspace Hobart)The Link Youth Health Service is a not-for-profit organisation providing free health and wellbeing services to young people aged 12 to 25.
The Link has been providing a range of services to young people in the CBD and surrounds of Hobart and Southern Tasmania for over 30 years, including general health and wellbeing, sexual health, alcohol, and other drugs support and, since 2012, mental health services through our headspace Hobart Centre.

About The Role: The Clinical Lead role sits within a Clinical Lead Team providing oversight to the coordination and delivery of clinical and other health and wellbeing services within The Link Youth Health Service (The Link), including headspace Hobart, to young people aged 12-25 years.
The Clinical Lead is a key leadership position in the provision, by suitably qualified staff, of inclusive, safe, high-quality and effective services at The Link.
The Clinical Lead provides clinical supervision, support and guidance to staff, private practitioners, and students, ensuring that day-to-day clinical work is carried out to effectively meet the needs of young people.
The Clinical Lead Team contributes to the development and delivery of evidence-based and innovative clinical services and will promote the delivery of youth health services that are of the highest quality.
The Clinical Lead will be engaged in clinical and caseload reviews and will actively manage referrals and demand for clinical and other health-based services.
Where required or during high demand, the Clinical Lead will carry a small caseload.
The Clinical Lead will be adept in leading a multidisciplinary team and an experienced and innovative professional with knowledge and experience in youth health service delivery.
The Clinical Lead will work collaboratively with the Senior Management Team, all clinicians (employed and private practitioners) at The Link and will report to the Clinical Manager.
This position will also form and maintain working relationships with key agencies in the community to establish integrated care pathways for young people.
The successful applicant will hold current registration with a professional body (AASW, AHPRA etc).
This role includes providing clinical oversight to multiple teams delivering services at the Liverpool Street premises as well as some outreach locations.
Occasional Saturday shifts and late nights (6pm) may be required.

The position is offered at up to full time and could be available across 2 x part-time roles.
