The Department of Health is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for a Clinical Lead - TEDS (528724d) vacancy. Please note this position is also being advertised as a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Clinical Lead (528724) and one position will be filled on merit. ***
Tasmania is part of a nationwide program of work that is delivering innovations in the treatment of eating disorders. The Tasmania Eating Disorder Service (TEDS) is a new service, that will deliver integrated specialist care for adults with an eating disorder. This includes Community-Based Intensive Treatment (CBIT) Programs in the North, North West and South and a statewide and Residential Recovery Program (RRP).
We are looking for clinicians with an interest in eating disorders (no prior experience in eating disorders required) who are innovators and have a passion for delivering quality care.
The Role: The Clinical Lead will provide high level support to the TEDS Manager, within the relevant local region, in the provision of Leadership and direction in the strategic development and management of a comprehensive multidisciplinary community mental health team.
Effective management of specified human and physical resources.
Leadership, direction and change management to facilitate the progression of the current Mental Health Service Strategic Plan through the implementation of the associated model of care, and relevant service policies, procedures and guidelines. Optimal clinical processes and individual client outcomes. Enhanced consumer and carer participation at all levels of the service. Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
Position Features Participate in the TEDS Community Based Intensive Treatment and Residential Recovery Program which delivers services for adults (16 year and older) with an eating disorder and their family and carers. Details of Appointment Permanent full time day worker position working 76hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Salary:$120,114 - $130,181per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum Relocation assistance may be available for the right applicant Please note that access to salaries beyond $126,845 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme Salary range is in accordance withAllied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022 Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
Current Working with Children Registration.
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
A minimum of 3 years current post graduate experience in mental health or relevant field
Experience and/or interest in working with people experiencing eating disorders or other mental health conditions.
Experience in clinical and professional supervision
Eating Disorder Credentialed practitioner
