Clinical Lead Speech Pathologist, Ear Nose & Throat (ENT) (permanent, part-time) An exciting opportunity awaits you at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) to become the ENT Clinical Lead Speech Pathologist within our newly established ENT Speech Pathology team.
In this role, you'll oversee and drive a First Contact Speech Pathology service designed to assist with ENT wait-list management.
You'll play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality care, working closely with ENT specialists to enhance patient outcomes, reduce wait times, and optimise services for patients with voice, swallowing, and upper airway issues.
What You'll Do: Lead, coordinate, and continually optimise our ENT Speech Pathology service in collaboration with the Senior ENT Speech Pathologist.
Apply your expertise in Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS), Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES), Nasendoscopy, and Videostroboscopy.
Mentor and inspire your peers, junior staff, and Master's students from the University of Tasmania.
Collaborate on service development initiatives while managing a Speech Pathology leadership portfolio.

Details of appointment: Permanent, part time, day worker, position, working 53.2 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Salary: $120,114 - $134,268 per annum (Pro rata).
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary packaging and a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Eligibility: Tertiary qualification/program of study accredited by Speech Pathology Australia.
Eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
