Support the delivery of high-quality clinical care across the lifespan, and lead the skill development of MHHS speech pathologists working within both routine and specialty areas of speech pathology practice.This position represents a vital and highly valued component of the Mackay Hospital and Health Service (MHHS) speech pathology team.This position reports operationally and professionally to the MHHS Director of Speech Pathology and provides services across MHHS facilities.About the TeamOur Speech Pathology Service delivers care to patients, both children and adults, throughout our hospital departments as well as in outpatient, community and rural settings. Our Speech Pathologists provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management to children and adults needing help with communication and/or swallowing.About our Hospital and Health ServiceWe have 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
