About the Role An exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Lead Speech Pathologist (Grade 4) to join our team. This is an Ongoing Part-Time (0.8 FTE) position. You will work within a supportive Speech Pathology team and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams managing complex paediatric inpatients and outpatients with swallowing and communication disorders. A significant part of this role involves providing clinical and professional leadership, teaching, supervision, and service improvement/development in collaboration with the Speech Pathology Manager.
What you'll achieve: Provide high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services to paediatric in/outpatients with communication and swallowing difficulties.Provide clinical and professional leadership within the Speech Pathology team in collaboration with the Speech Pathology Manager.Lead clinical improvement projects and promote a culture of evidence-based practice and an understanding of research principles and practice.Work effectively and flexibly within teams demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills.Act in a professional and ethical manner.Your skills and experience: Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent tertiary qualification.Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.Extensive experience in the provision of speech pathology services to children with communication and swallowing disorders.Demonstrated experience in the leadership and management of a clinical speech pathology team.Post-graduate qualification relevant to the role at Master or PhD level (or significant progress towards).Meets the requirements of the Speech Pathology Australia Professional Self-Regulation program.Upholds the Speech Pathology Australia Code of Conduct.Other requirements: Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain.Valid Working with Children Check.Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain.Compliance with RCHs "Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases" procedure.Application process To apply, you will need a resume and a brief cover letter (max 2 pages).
