About the Role
As a Clinical Lead - Occupational Therapy, you will take on a pivotal leadership role within the allied health team.
You'll provide clinical supervision and mentorship to Occupational Therapists, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, client-centred care.
This role involves managing a clinical caseload while fostering team development, promoting collaboration, and driving service quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the Occupational Therapy team, fostering professional growth and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.Mentorship: Support individual and team development through mentoring and professional guidance.Client Care: Oversee clinical assessments, treatment planning, and implementation of interventions to support client goals and independence.Quality Assurance: Lead case reviews and clinical governance activities to maintain high standards of care.Collaboration: Facilitate interdisciplinary communication and teamwork to deliver holistic, coordinated client care.Professional Development: Coordinate and promote staff training and continuous learning opportunities.Service Delivery: Manage a personal caseload alongside providing oversight and support to team members.Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate documentation of client assessments, interventions, and outcomes.Policy Development: Contribute to the creation and review of clinical policies and procedures.Key Selection Criteria Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.Minimum of three years' experience, including team leadership or supervisory responsibilities.Experience working across clinic and community-based settings with clients from diverse backgrounds.Current First Aid and CPR certification, National Police Check, and Working with Children Check.Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Demonstrated ability to foster a positive team environment and drive professional development initiatives.Valid driver's licence, insured vehicle, and eligibility to work in Australia.Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations.If you're passionate about making a difference and meet the criteria, we'd love to hear from you.
