About the role You will oversee the care and clinical services of residents living in their own home within LDK's The Landings village community. You will work with the Care Operations Manager and National Care Manager. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead the Care team in the delivery of care and services to residents as well as mentoring and educating Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants.Support the Dementia Program and all care staff to deliver best practice dementia care.Manage incidents and feedback within the care environment.Collaborate with the National Care Manager to deliver all aspects of care to the highest standard.Work effectively with the Clinical Case Manager Lead to ensure clear and transparent communication occurs when delivering care.Champion and deliver a holistic approach to care, focusing on the needs, goals and preferences of residents.Support the education to village residents oriented towards the promotion of independence, reablement and health improvements.The working hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm. There may be occasions when on-call or out of hours assistance with escalations is required.
Free onsite parking.Salary sacrificing and novated leasing options, plus retail discounts.Retention bonus and employee referral bonus.Continuous professional development and promotional opportunities.Excellent company culture underpinned by Love, Decency & Kindness (LDK).Beautiful workplace location at our North Turramurra village.Skills and experience Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with more than 5 years nursing experience.Demonstrated high level competence in the provision of contemporary nursing care including medication management, clinical assessment, and relevant documentation.Demonstrated specialty skills in complex wound management, chronic disease management, medication administration, continence and/or palliative care (highly desirable).High level of confidence in using technology relevant to the delivery of nursing/care services.Understanding of relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards, and guidelines relevant to the Aged Care environment with a particular emphasis on funding, Quality Systems, Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement (highly desirable).Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Understanding of financial link between service delivery and funding framework, such as Home Care (highly desirable).Demonstrated high level application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement person-centred care.Ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care.How to apply If this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you.
