HiTalent Recruitment is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join a community-based Mental Health Program in Lismore delivered by a well-respected Not for Profit. This program is funded by the PHN to deliver inclusive mental health services to the community. This role pays up to $115k with super and $15,900 salary packaging benefits and is open to full- or part-time (4 days per week) candidates.
Are you a compassionate and skilled mental health professional who desires to provide supervisory oversight to Mental Health Clinicians and carry a 0.5 caseload?
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in providing supervisory oversight to the clinical team. This role will also be responsible for clinical assessments, case formulation, and treatment plans for people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
Delivery of therapeutic services, including evidence-based psychological therapies and play therapies, tailored to the needs of clients. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to client care. Actively provide supervision, case reviews, and line management to support the professional growth and development of the team and students. Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives for the service. Facilitate team meetings and lead decisions around care and risk. Uphold organisational values and policies while maintaining a commitment to quality service delivery. To be successful in this role, you will require:
A tertiary degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy Registration with a relevant professional body - AASW or APHRA Minimum 5 years of experience working in the mental health sector Demonstrated proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, case formulations, diagnosis, and assessment Experience conducting risk assessments, including the delivery of crisis intervention Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage and lead a multidisciplinary team.
