The successful candidate will lead our multidisciplinary mental health teams. This role is a great opportunity to further hone your clinical leadership skills.The role will involve providing clinical oversight, coordination, supervision, and positive leadership to the headspace Maitland team who provide a full-service headspace centre with four core streams of Mental Health, Physical and Sexual Health, Alcohol and Other Drug, and Vocational and Educational supports to young people aged 12-25 years in the community. headspace Cessnock is a satellite service, providing Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug, and Vocational education support 3 days a week.You will be able to utilise your experience providing age-appropriate evidence-based interventions while improving service delivery and access to young people.Responsibilities of the Clinical Lead include:Take a lead role in supporting the headspace staff, private allied health providers, and collocated services, to respond to clients presenting to headspace Maitland or CessnockAssess young people in accordance with designated headspace governance toolsAssist the Centre Manager to monitor the effectiveness of the Intake systems and referral pathways for young people who access headspace.
