In this pivotal role, you will not only provide clinical supervision and support to our skilled clinical staff, but also offer expert guidance on clinical service issues, ensuring that our young clients receive the best possible care. You will play an essential part in shaping the future of our services through involvement in program development, design, and evaluation, all while collaborating closely with the headspace Services Manager. As a strategic leader, you will oversee and mentor senior clinicians, GP Clinic staff, and allied health practitioners, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in mental health support. About you You are an experienced mental health professional with a passion for youth-focused care. Your skills and background include:
Tertiary qualification/s in a relevant health field and AHPRA registration or eligibility for membership with the association in your field
At least 5 years of senior clinical experience, with advanced skills in mental health screening and risk assessment
Proven ability to lead and supervise clinical staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment
Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance, and the ability to develop and implement effective clinical processes
Experience working with diverse young populations, including CALD, Indigenous, and LGBTIQA communities
Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with clients, families, and other service providers, ensuring the delivery of integrated and high-quality care.
