Clinical Lead - Head to Health Kids - CAMHS (528420d)(North)Our aim:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to establish and lead the Head to Health Kids Tas Service multidisciplinary team in Northern Tasmania.
The senior clinician will have a passion for working collaboratively with existing child and family services to deliver evidence-based early interventions.
The Clinical Lead will establish and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver secondary level mental health assessment and intervention for infants, children, and their families and caregivers, experiencing emerging complexity regarding emotional, social, relational, and behavioural functioning.The role will:Coordinate and plan the establishment of a regional H2HK ServiceOversee place-based operation of the North H2HK Tas Service, operationally supported as part of the regional CAMHSFacilitate extensive cross-agency and cross sector engagement, co-planning, and continuing service coordination and integrationCover the delivery of a range of specialist and coordinated early interventions, in close partnership with the CFLC service setting, School Professional Support Services and other relevant servicesProvide clinical leadership to a H2HK multidisciplinary team.Details of Appointment:Fixed term full time day worker position (with on call) working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2026.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Salary:$123,717 - $134,336 per annum + 11.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.Minimum Requirements:Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health professional course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registered with the relevant Board or, in the case of unregulated professions, eligible for membership of the relevant professional association.Current Working with Children Registration.Desirable Criteria:A minimum of 3 years current post-graduate experience in child, adolescent and/or youth mental health or relevant field.Training in relevant and appropriate evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are developmentally appropriate such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).Current Driver's Licence.Additional Information:The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
