The Department of Health are seeking a highly self-motivated Clinical Lead to join their Mental Health Services Team, located at South.
Please note this position is also being advertised as a Clinical Nurse Consultant - Clinical Lead (517884) and only one position will be filled on merit. The role: Provide expert level allied health specialist clinical advice enabling the delivery of high-quality patient care for patients with complex care requirements.Develop and promote effective partnerships within the Agency and with external community service providers for liaison, education and support for complex and high-risk patients.Provide authoritative specialist clinical advice on the development of policies and the delivery of services across the continuum of care.Apply significant professional knowledge and independent judgement in relation to delivering novel, complex or critical allied health professional services in a discrete area of practice and/or broad generalist field.Provide leadership, specialist advice and support for complex and high-risk patients, coordinating clinical advice from internal departments and external community service providers and stakeholders with regards to risk identification.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
The team: This position is part of Continuing Care Stream and is based at Clarence.Cohesive and supportive multidisciplinary team.Details of Appointment Permanent full time, day worker position working 76hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.Salary: $120,114 - $134,268per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Please note that access to salaries beyond $126,845 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade schemeSalary range is in accordance withAllied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Satisfactory completion of an appropriate course of study at a recognised tertiary institution, and registered with the relevant Board or, in the case of unregulated professions, eligible for membership of the relevant professional association.Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
