Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Clinical Governance Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinical governance systems, policies, procedures, and processes across the organisation. You will be governing the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to vulnerable populations, meeting their unique needs and preferences. You will ensure that EverAbility provides safe and effective services to people with disabilities in accordance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.Key responsibilities and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care to vulnerable populations, meeting their unique needs and preferences.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical governance systems and processes, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect best practice and changing requirements.Liaise and negotiate with a range of stakeholders, often acting as a point of contact between staff, stakeholders, and senior management to inform of relevant key priorities and issues relating to clinical governance.Contribute to organisation-wide governance systems relating to information management, continuous improvement, workforce, regulatory compliance, feedback, and complaints.Develop and deliver training and education programs on clinical governance issues for staff, volunteers, and contractors.Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure accountability.Develop, implement, and monitor clinical governance policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.Work with external agencies, including regulators, to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.Provide leadership and guidance to staff on clinical governance issues, including risk management, incident management, feedback and complaints management, and quality improvement.Minimum Requirements:Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., nursing, allied health, health management).Demonstrated experience in clinical governance, risk management, incident management, and quality improvement in a healthcare, disability, or aged care setting.Knowledge and understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards, and their application in maintaining a Clinical Governance Framework.Experience in policy and procedure development and implementation.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff.Demonstrated ability to identify and manage risk, and to develop and implement strategies to prevent adverse events.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyse complex data and information.High level of computer literacy, including experience with clinical information systems and databases.In return, you will be rewarded with:Free onsite parking and close to public transport (across the road from Victoria Park Train Station)Enjoy up to 3 days of additional paid leave during the Christmas and New Year holidays!Free access to our gymOngoing professional development and trainingEmployee Assistance ProgramNFP salary packaging options – use some of your salary for everyday expenses before income tax; meaning you can increase your take-home pay!How to apply?If you're ready to help us make a difference, click Apply and let's chat about what life looks like at EverAbility.We encourage people with disabilities and of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds to apply.
