Key Responsibilities: Oversee the Clinical Governance of our facilities with the ability to drive improvement across the Aged Care estateLead, manage and support a team of Registered NursesManage communications and reporting to the Aged Care Quality and Safety CommissionWork as an integral member of the management teamAbout You Comprehensive knowledge of Australian aged care legislation, regulations and standards (e.g.
Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act).High level of clinical expertiseAudit clinical services with the ability to identify gaps and plan for continuous improvementExperience in dealing with the ACQaSCExperience in reporting to the Executive team and board members when neededAbility to mentor and guide teams in achieving change managementStrong understanding of governance principles, risk management frameworks, and compliance practices.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Highly-motivated individual with a passion for compliance and continuous improvementUnderstanding of the issues, legislation, standards, and practices relevant to the provision of safe, high quality and person-centred care in aged careRequirements for the Role A Registered Nurse with registration with AHPRA and a proven track record within residential aged careExtensive experience in compliance and governance roles, preferably within the aged care or healthcare sector.National Police Check Valid no later than 3 monthsRight to work in Australia#J-18808-Ljbffr
