With a Head Office in Nhulunbuy, Miwatj also manages a Corporate Office in Darwin, 7 fixed clinics across the East Arnhem region.Key ResponsibilitiesThis role will support the General Manager-Health in the development and implementation of the Miwatj governance framework, provide quality assurance advice and support to other members of the Senior Leadership Team across all areas of service delivery and oversee project design, planning, implementation and evaluation of identified quality improvement projects within Miwatj.Selection CriteriaThe successful candidate must have an understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control, self-determination, and the issues faced by Yol?u people living in remote settings; Ability to motivate and accommodate the needs of staff in facilitating change within a complex and culturally diverse environment; Proven capacity to communicate and negotiate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal peoples.Vaccination & Immunity ScreeningMiwatj Health is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all workers and users of its healthcare centres.
