About the Role We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Education Team at Greenslopes Private Hospital in this Permanent Part Time opportunity (40 hours per fortnight). You will be providing education and clinical expertise to our Oncology/Haematology departments and Renal Dialysis Unit under the direction of the Nurse Educator.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Delivering education plans for the provision of the highest standards of patient care.Facilitating department based training and clinical competency assessments.Providing clinical support to our nursing teams.About You To succeed in this role, you will bring exceptional time management skills, be highly organised and flexible to accommodate educational needs across different shifts (as required). You will have a committed and proactive approach to professional development, demonstrated experience in mentoring clinical staff and be an exceptional and positive role model.
• Relevant Nursing Registration with AHPRA
• Minimum three (3) years' experience as a Registered Nurse in Oncology/Haematology (Renal Dialysis experience advantageous)
• Minimum 12 months recent ward experience
• Previous experience in an education role is an advantage
• Post Graduate qualification in one or more of the relevant specialties (or working towards)
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (desirable)
Remuneration: $54.72 - $58.82+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)
