New Graduates to 3rd Years are encouraged to apply.About the Role:Join our expanding team of Exercise Physiologists, Exercise & Sport Scientists, Athlete Development Coaches and Allied Health Assistants. This full or part-time position is a crucial part of our clinic's ability to service more patients, athletes and community groups throughout the Mackay region and also explore outreach opportunities in our more rural communities.Role & Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' physical and functional abilities, limitations and exercise/health-related goals.Prescribe and implement appropriate, effective, safe and evidence-based therapeutic exercise interventions to assist patients in achieving their goals.Monitor and re-assess patients' progress and provide modifications and progressions to their clinical exercise interventions as required.Provide education and support to the patients regarding the benefits of exercise and how to adopt healthier lifestyle habits.Maintain detailed clinical treatment notes, reporting and letters in accordance with professional and organizational standards.Network with colleagues, other allied health professionals and community groups about exercise physiology services.Complete regular professional development and present to the Untapped Exercise Physiology team on topics of interest.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's degree or Master's of Clinical Exercise Physiology.Current ESSA AEP Accreditation.First Aid & CPR Certificates.Blue Card.Diver's License.Police Check.Demonstrate experience in designing and delivering evidence-based, clinical exercise interventions for diverse demographics.Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to appropriately and effectively communicate with patients, caregivers, support workers, colleagues and varied allied health professionals.Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to identify patients' requirements and prescribe individualized exercise interventions.Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining required accreditations.Perks of Working With Us:At Untapped Exercise Physiology, you will have access to VALD Performance Assessment equipment, providing comprehensive, efficient and extremely beneficial objective data, allowing for advanced exercise prescription and improved monitoring of progress.
