Join our Occupational Therapy Team at the Mental Health Division Be Inspired: Contribute to occupational therapy research & innovation and participate in evidence-based communities of practice - sensory modulation, group work and others.Be a Change Maker: Transform the way we support people who access mental health services.Be the Best You: Enhance your expertise alongside dedicated occupational therapy educators and leaders; with tailored professional development and a well-established early career program.Be Looked After: Participate in quality supervision, team-based mentoring and benefit from dedicated wellbeing and self-care initiatives.About the role: Employment Status: Fixed term, Part-time Maternity Leave backfill.Appointment Available: up to 12 months from 27th January 2025.Occupational Therapists are provided with: Regular supervision & support alongside education and training calendars, seminars all delivered by clinical experts.Individually learning and career pathway opportunities.Local occupational therapy monthly meetings plus the opportunity to attend occupational therapy-led Communities of Practice.Strong focus on self-care & wellbeing.A regular day will see you: Contribute to the development of education, professional development and training programs for Occupational Therapists inclusive of graduate and early career Occupational Therapists.Develop resources that support the education and training element of the workforce.Design, develop and implement a robust student clinical placement program.Ensure appropriate, contemporary learning & development strategies are implemented.Support wellbeing and resilience of the occupational therapy workforce through supervision, peer reflection & other support frameworks.About you: As the Clinical Educator Occupational Therapy, you will have excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You'll bring energy and drive to your work with a keen interest in developing your own skillset as well as the confidence and competencies of others.
