ARRCS are actively sourcing a skilled Clinical Educator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. Based in our Regional Office in Darwin, Clinical Educators are responsible and accountable in supporting direct care staff to build:Capacity of individuals to deliver safe, knowledge-based care using a variety of educational tools and development methods such as but not limited to reflective practice, practice development, critical thinking, mentor/preceptor and adult learning concepts to support improvements in clinical and care practices as directed by the Coordinator Clinical Education & Training.A consumer-focused learning culture that fosters clinical and care practice innovation and has a knowledge base that is contemporary and supported by evidenceA proactive care workforce team that is receptive to changing models of care and clinical practice.This role would ideally suit a skilled RN who is wishing to move direction in their career and provide education and mentoring to current RN's across our facilities. You will be passionate about ensuring care is provided by a skilled workforce. You will be comfortable working with minimal supervision and able to travel to remote locations within the NT regularly.Benefits of working for usARRCS is the largest Aged Care Provider in the NT - your career can take you all over the NT including Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine or if you relocate interstate ARRCS are a pathway to Uniting Care QLD.Salary Packaging through CBB (Approx. an additional $200 extra per fortnight in your bank!)Access to 70,000 Training and Development Courses through our Learning PlatformBenestar Employee Wellbeing & Emotional SupportSkills & experienceTo be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:Bachelor of Nursing and current unrestricted AHPRA registrationCertificate IV in Training and Assessment, preferred however, not essential.Demonstrated experience as a preceptor/mentor/coach with the proven ability to use contemporary education and teaching methods to develop and motivate staff towards a learning culture.Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.Demonstrated ability to deliver and evaluate education and learning activities to meet individual learning needs using adult learning principles.Demonstrated skills in developing and teaching new approaches to practice that link evidence to improved consumer outcomes and experienceDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of nursing scope of practice, delegation and supervision of self and othersEvidence of a current unrestricted driver's licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires.
