Clinical Director Anaesthetics

Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) is offering a unique opportunity to join our Anaesthetic team as the Clinical Director of Anaesthetics.
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Clinical Director of Anaesthetics is a role with leadership and governance responsibilities within the Surgical Services Cluster, aligning safe and high-quality clinical service delivery with MBPH strategic direction and values.
The Clinical Director of Anaesthetics is an administrative role worked in conjunction with clinical duties (0.4 FTE non-clinical / 0.6 FTE clinical).
Remuneration is at a HM41 as per the Doctors in Training (Victorian Public Health Sector) (AMA Victoria/ASMOF) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement.
To be successful in this role, you will have: Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia, or ability to gain registration, as a Specialist AnaesthetistFellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA), or ability to gain FellowshipDemonstrated clinical ability commensurate with that expected of a Senior Specialist Anaesthetist in a Victorian public hospitalEvidence of ongoing professional development and participation in quality assurance activitiesFor more role specific information please visit www.mbph.org.au/job-vacancies to view the position description.
