About the Role: As a Clinical Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within your territory. Acting as the product and indication expert, you will focus on generating demand, negotiating contracts, and delivering impactful educational programs to clinical staff.
Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing the use and implementation of Essity's innovative products with a primary focus in the NSW & ACT region. You will identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth, researching market trends, identifying potential partners and customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute successful business strategies.

What You Will Do: Drive Essity's educational portfolio and generate demand, identifying opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling among new and existing customers. Acquire new customers and develop new business opportunities through a strategic sales process focused on opportunity identification, management, and implementation. Conduct territory planning to maximize outcomes using effective resource allocation and planning activities. Leverage technology and data-driven insights using CRM and Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and utilizing customer activities to make informed decisions. Proactively contact leads, maintain a robust pipeline, and collaborate with the marketing team to leverage strategic opportunities. Create and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that articulate the value of Essity's products, while anticipating and meeting future customer needs. Serve as the regional expert on indications and products, supporting the sales team with education and competency-building initiatives. Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with financial objectives. Collaborate cross-functionally to execute strategic plans and capitalize on customer opportunities. Who You Are: You bring experience and/or formal clinical qualifications relevant to Essity's core business area in orthopaedics. Additionally, you have:
Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to manage contracts, tenders, and business agreements precisely. A successful track record of profitable sales delivery within the healthcare or medical industry. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, along with the ability to build meaningful relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and expertise in optimizing CRM systems. Experience collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders in the healthcare sector. Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to thrive in cross-functional settings, engaging effectively with diverse teams. A growth mindset, creative thinking, and the drive to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Strong interpersonal skills and fluency in English. A current Driver's Licence and access to a car.
