Clinical Manager (Remuneration Package $217,643)Oral Health Service Central AustraliaFixed vacancy in Alice Springs The Clinical Manager is responsible to the Director of Urban Services; Primary & Public Health Care for the efficient and effective management of clinical services in the Central Australian region, in accordance with OHSCA agreed policies and procedures. This position is responsible for the development of a team or consultative approach in relation to the operational functions of the region's service including overseeing workforce development systems; planning and managing services provided across the region, facilitating the implementation and review of services, and ensuring clinical output and outcome targets are met. The position will also be required to undertake professional management of dental practitioners and non-dental staff as required, including recruitment and retention, management of staff performance and the provision of mentoring as required. Along with encouraging and participating in quality, evaluation, research and development of projects, and the facilitation of clinical quality improvements. Also planning, managing, evaluating and reporting of clinical and public oral health services, utilising sound budget management practices, community needs assessments, outcome based accountability and quality improvement frameworks, while following defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. Oral Health Service in Central Australia (OHSCA) provides a range of oral health services, community education programs and targeted services to clients with chronic diseases and special needs.
