In this vital role, you will support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager by overseeing the delivery of care, ensuring consistency and quality. You will assist with the implementation of practice changes, manage day-to-day operations, and guide a team of nurses and midwives in their professional development. Your responsibilities will include performance management, staffing, recruitment, and the coordination of financial and resource planning.
What We're Looking For: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.At least 3 years of post-registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.Experience supervising and mentoring student nurses and less experienced staff.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer packages.A commitment to providing exceptional care and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.If you're ready to step into a leadership role where you can make a real difference, we want to hear from you!
