A vacancy exists for a highly motivated Clinical Coder with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team.The Clinical Coder Level 6 administrative officer is responsible for accurate and detailed coding of diagnoses and procedures from patient records (paper and electronic) in a timely manner as required to assist in the completion of clinical coding deadlines. The Clinical Coder Level 6 administrative officer is also responsible for participating in clinical coding quality audits, clinician meetings and other clinical coder related duties as directed by the Clinical Coding Manager.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure the patient's right to privacy and confidentiality is always maintained.To ensure admitted patient episodes are coded accurately.To ensure admitted patient episodes are coded in a timely manner.Diversity and Inclusion at St Vincent's:St Vincent's is committed to employing a workforce that reflects the community we care for.
