We provide a professional and supportive team environment coding records from InfoMedix Digital Medical Records at the Armidale Rural Referral Hospital campus.
Our recruits will be supported by the Health Information Manager of Armidale Hospital and the HNE District coding manager.
You will receive orientation to the site and the systems that we use as well as ongoing regular training.
About the role:
This role will see our successful candidate/s code episodes for Armidale Rural Referral Hospital coding a varied Casemix including surgical specialties for Urology, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
You will adhere to the code of ethics for clinical coders and HNE CORE values, while complying with policies, procedures, and guidelines.
An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part-time and temporary part-time vacancies.
Remote clinical coding may be considered for the right applicant with relevant coding experience and qualifications.
Requirements:
Administration Officer Level 5 - Successful completion of a recognised ICD10-AM & ACHI and Australian Coding Standards coding qualification.
Administration Officer Level 6 - Successful completion of a recognised clinical coding course and willingness to undertake an Advanced qualification or have experience across a broad range of specialties.
